  • 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal fine or medium grind
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk whole or buttermilk
  • 1 large Egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter melted, plus extra for pan

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes while you mix the batter.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the milk, beaten egg, and melted butter until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 6-inch cake pan or onto a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with butter and honey.
