Main Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each, skin-on
- 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the teriyaki sauce thickens and becomes glossy. Set aside.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
Brush each fillet generously with the prepared teriyaki sauce.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
During the last 2 minutes, brush with an additional layer of sauce for extra glaze.
Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
